Franklin council approves town administrator contract
FRANKLIN — Franklin's Town Council approved a new contract for the town administrator on Thursday, settling the terms of the town's top administrative post, while officials also announced an invasive weed treatment at DelCarte and a PFAS facility open house later this month.

The Town Council on Thursday, August 13, approved a contract for the town administrator, according to the town's News Flash announcement. The release did not detail contract terms, salary, or length in the portion made public.
Separately, the town announced that DelCarte Recreation and Conservation Area's ponds will undergo invasive aquatic vegetation treatment on Friday, August 14. Residents who use the ponds should expect the treatment activity Friday, per the town's announcement.
Election officials also reminded residents that early voting for the state primary runs August 22 through 28 at the Town Clerk's Office, and the town is inviting residents to an open house at the new Well 7-7A PFAS Treatment Facility later this month.
