Franklin Affordable Housing Trust approves prior minutes and discusses expanded funding mechanisms. The Trust holds $1,116,679.53 in reserves as of late November 2025, with $500,000 dedicated to the 60-unit Franklin Ridge Senior housing project; three requisitions totaling $209,761 have been paid to date. Chair Chris Vericker requested clarification on how the Ridge allocation will be distributed, and the board voted unanimously to adjourn after requesting a detailed fund-tracking report from town finance.
Members discussed launching new programs including accessory dwelling unit funding, first-time homebuyer down-payment assistance, and revolving loan funds, and agreed to research similar initiatives in other municipalities and invite a Federal Home Loan Bank representative to present available programs.
