Town Council · Meeting of July 22, 2026

Franklin Town Council increases winter parking violation fines to $100, $200, and $300 for successive offenses, with Councilor Maxwell Morrongiello as sole dissent citing disparate impact on low-income residents. The council unanimously approved acceptance of J. Victor Lane as a public way, three liquor license transfers, and social media and email guidelines for officials.

The council also approved use of the A.B. Fletcher Trust Fund for a school sign and accepted gifts to municipal departments. Action on sewer capacity sales to Millis and Medway was deferred to September 2, 2026 after representatives questioned the $15.07 per gallon pricing.
