Planning Board recommends four zoning amendments to Town Council.

Planning Board · Meeting of March 23, 2026

FRANKLIN — Planning Board unanimously recommends four zoning amendments to Town Council. Director Morena Zelaya explained that amendments 26-946 and 26-947 revise use tables in General Residential 5, C-1, and the Crossing Neighborhood to comply with state MBTA Communities requirements mandating Franklin zone for 1,883 housing units; amendments 26-948 and 26-949 correct prior zoning errors. Board member Eric Steltzer abstained from the vote on amendment 26-948 due to professional conflict.

The board also continued three private definitive subdivision hearings to April 6, 2026, each by unanimous vote.
