Library board greenlights first integrated summer reading with schools

FRANKLIN — Library board approves integrated summer reading program with schools. Youth Services Librarian Caleigh Keating will oversee book selection in partnership with six literacy specialists and the high school librarian, extending the initiative beyond middle school for the first time. Library Director Felicia Oti will investigate costs for book kiosks at Franklin's two MBTA stations and presented a draft Facility Rentals Policy for future board review.
The FY27 budget public hearings are scheduled for May 20-21.
