Franklin Historical Commission approves minutes, receives artist-residency presentation. Cory Shea, Director of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, outlined a Franklin Cultural District Artist Residency using the Museum's kitchen space. Archivist Rowan Lowell reported expenses of slightly over $600 for wedding-gown storage boxes and unveiled a draft timeline of Franklin's history for Museum display.
Commission member Alan Earls announced he will not seek reelection in June 2027; Scott Mason proposed drafting a continuity plan. The Commission discussed a police liaison assignment for a Museum exhibit, tabled an IC4K proposal the Friends would partially fund at $1,000 of a $3,000 cost, and pursued consolidation of veterans exhibits with a proposed photo book series.
