Historical Commission approves hosting procedures and updates museum operations

Franklin Historical Commission unanimously approves Hosting Procedures packet. The commission also heard updates from Treasurer Phyllis Malcolm that the account balance has fallen to $3,100, while Deb Pellegri of the Friends of Franklin Historical Museum reported the organization is in debt this year despite praise for the new lobby layout. Archivist Rowan Lowell reported ongoing photo scanning, website updates, and work with the GIS department on a StoryMap of Franklin's development from 1690 to present.
Brandon Carrico completed repairs on the Victrola record player for public use, while Scott Mason reported the baseball exhibit will be ready approximately one year from spring 2026.
