Franklin's 250th Anniversary Celebration Committee approves FY26 budget and multi-year event calendar. The nine-member panel unanimously approved the budget and allocated $755 as a gala deposit, while the Communication subcommittee--chaired by Julie Cornoni--unveiled plans for a Wix website, online store, and May soft launch of the logo design. The Events subcommittee outlined major observances including church bell-ringing on March 2, 2028; an opening gala in September 2026; a 250th parade on September 16, 2028; a golf tournament in June 2028; and a closing gala in November 2028.
Dave Clifton, chair of both Sharon's 250th and Easton's 300th celebrations, will speak at the February meeting.
