Franklin Design Review Commission approves three downtown sign packages. The board unanimously approved signage for Fresh Monkee at 5 West Central Street and Derm Wellness PC at 835 West Central Street after design modifications. Pretty Is Pink at 5 Main Street won approval 2-1, with Commissioner Tahani Alkailani dissenting over aesthetic concerns.

Owner Lori Rosenberg, whose store has operated in Franklin for 21 years, defended the black-and-white design as appropriately sophisticated and matching the existing downtown corridor. Commissioners Kyle Galvin and Priya Natarajan supported the application. The commission also recognized withdrawal of a Franklin Plaza application pending Planning Board coordination.
