Franklin Conservation Commission approves buffer zone activity at 10 Symphony Drive with native plant screening condition. Chair Mark LePage led the meeting with six members present. The Commission also approved a permit modification at 555 King Street reducing building footprint from 255,000 to 234,800 square feet, issued a Certificate of Compliance for 37 Hancock Road pool closure, and extended enforcement at 8 Bogastow Brook Lane for 90 days.
The Commission voted to adopt M.G.L. Chapter 110G allowing electronic signatures on official documents, reappointed Richard Johnson to the Community Preservation Commission, and unanimously approved $850 for forestry demonstration at Riverbend Conservation Area. Director Breeka Li Goodlander and Derek Adams presented comprehensive beaver management practices, including six installed flow devices and eight permitted, addressing ecological benefits and municipal infrastructure conflicts.
