Franklin Commission on Disability approves resources document for public distribution

FRANKLIN — The Franklin Commission on Disability unanimously approved the Disability Resources Document for public distribution and adopted updated Commission expectations at its February 5 meeting. Chairperson Alison Rheaume and six members heard remarks from Mark Dempsey of the MetroWest Center for Independent Living on Massachusetts Architectural Access Board requirements, and received an announcement that Commission member Mary O'Neill has resigned. Members assigned themselves to locations for the Disability Accessibility Document and agreed to address a lighting issue at Central Terrace by contacting the property owner.
