Franklin's 250th Anniversary Celebration Committee · Meeting of June 29, 2026
Franklin's 250th Anniversary committee launches oral history interview program. The Historical Significance Subcommittee voted unanimously to approve April 27 minutes and agreed to begin resident interviews immediately, assigning committee member Alan Earls to prepare permission forms and guidance material. The committee established a shared workspace for capturing historical information and agreed to pursue a commemorative booklet modeled on the town's 1978 publication.
Earls will research a Witness House recognition program similar to Medfield's model for discussion at the July 20 meeting.
