FRANKLIN — The Design Review Commission unanimously approved three monument signs at its September 15 meeting. Chair Derek Darvish oversaw approvals for Ameriprise at 323 West Central Street, Guardian Self Storage at 151 Grove Street, and Saint Mary Catholic Church at 1 Church Square. Member Kyle Galvin motioned on all three applications, each receiving 4-0 votes.
Cam Afonso of Signs by Cam presented all three projects. The Ameriprise sign is a double-sided aluminum design replacing older signage; the Guardian sign is internally lit with a black opaque face; the Saint Mary sign features 23-karat gold leaf on granite posts replacing a 1978 design.
