Franklin Design Review Commission approved three business sign packages during its August 18 meeting. The Commission voted unanimously to approve signage for Fresh Monkee, a healthy-shake franchise at 5 West Central Street, and Derm Wellness PC at 835 West Central Street. For Pretty Is Pink at 5 Main Street, the Commission voted 2-1 to approve a black and white sign package, with member Tahani Alkanilani dissenting over concerns that the design lacked vibrancy.
The Commission also acknowledged withdrawal of a Franklin Plaza application for 9, 13, and 15 Main Street.
