Design Review Commission approves seven sign packages at April meeting

FRANKLIN — Design Review Commission unanimously approves six sign packages on April 21. Vice Chair Andrew Pratt oversaw approvals for Orange Theory, Five Guys, Mathnasium, Citgo, and Shell, plus a pylon sign for Mavi Zunto Beauty Studio; a separate application for Mavi Zunto's entrance signage was directed back to the applicant. CVS Pharmacy's application was tabled when the applicant failed to attend.
Director of Planning & Community Development Morena Zelaya announced a proposed $75-to-$100 Design Review application fee headed to the Town Council in mid-May and reported a Metropolitan Area Planning Council grant application aimed at updating the Commission's design guidelines and bylaws, due the first week of June.
