FRANKLIN — Design Review Commission approves four sign packages with one deferred for Planning Board review. Chair Sam Williams, Vice Chair Andrew Pratt, Derek Darvish, and Associate Priya Natarajan unanimously approved signage for Ola Salon at 648 Old West Central Street, Franklin Extended Stay Hotel at 835 Upper Union Street, Plansee at 115 Constitution Boulevard with a condition to reduce signage to 74 square feet, and Intermission at 36 Main Street. BJ's Wholesale at 100 Corporate Drive received approval for gas, tire service and monument signage, but building facade signs were rejected as oversized.

The applicant must pursue Planning Board and potentially Zoning Board approval to proceed.
