Franklin Cultural District schedules Wind Phone dedication and advances multiple cultural initiatives for fall. The committee approved prior meeting minutes and reported the Fence Gallery displaying artwork in two locations, with a second gallery featuring four new works planned for fall. The committee allocated $15,000 from town budget; World Cup watch parties earlier this summer attracted 3,000 to 4,000 attendees each day, and Pride Fest was well received by vendors.
The committee meets next on September 10, coinciding with the Wind Phone dedication ceremony at the Sculpture Park.
