FRANKLIN — Cultural District Committee approves prior minutes and assigns member ambassadors. Chair John LoPresti distributed roles for initiatives including Porch Fest, World Cup events, and public art projects. The Porch Fest Committee held its first meeting February 25, planning the June 6 event with food trucks and picnic tables, with a rain date of June 7 and a goal of 60 bands.
Roberta Trahan reported the Franklin 250 Committee is working on a logo and merchandise, with the gala scheduled for November 2028 at Lake Pearl.
