Franklin Cultural District Committee approves prior minutes and advances multiple arts initiatives. Chairperson John LoPresti reported 21 bands and 18 porches registered for PorchFest, with venues including the library, historical museum, and Dean College. The committee ordered $80 banners for a chain link gallery slated for installation May 20, and artist Amy Adams presented plans for a Wind Phone grief-processing space to be installed at the sculpture park in May.

Member Peter Rochat expressed concern over funding for Cory Shea, Director of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, after one Finance Committee member opposed her $20,000 budget request for the committee.
