Conservation Commission approves two major site plans, continues one hearing

Franklin Conservation Commission approves Cypress Real Estate Development site plan for Symphony Drive/Tanglewood Estates II. The Commission unanimously approved the Notice of Intent with special conditions requiring the applicant to cut back a 4-inch PVC drainage pipe to the existing property line and notify the affected neighbor by certified mail 14 calendar days before removal. The Commission also unanimously approved a utility pole replacement by Massachusetts Electric Company at Prospect Street Right of Way conditioned on use of silt socks, and authorized tree removal at 10 Elizabeth Avenue with stumps left in place.

A more complex residential proposal for 47 Partridge Street, featuring stormwater management infrastructure and a 6-lot development, was continued to May 7 pending the Commission's review of peer comments and preparation of conditions.
