Franklin Conservation Commission approves tree removal, defers four permit applications. Chair Mark LePage and six fellow commissioners voted unanimously to approve removal of dangerous trees at 912 Washington Street by Charron Tree Service, with a crane access in the driveway and stumps left in place. The Commission continued four Notices of Intent, for culvert repair on Nicholas Drive/Prospect Street, the Symphony Drive/Tanglewood Estates project, a garage at 670 King Street, and a single-family dwelling on Lewis Street, all to February 26 at staggered hearing times to allow for site investigations, peer review, and applicant revisions.
The Commission also approved $3,187.85 in retroactive interim conservation agent services and allocated $10,000 from the wetlands fund over seven years for government email addresses for seven commissioners to comply with public records requirements.
