Franklin communications subcommittee launches with expanded office hours as priority. The newly formed Communications Subcommittee, chaired by Caroline Griffith with Vice Chair Jane Callaway-Tripp and including Councilors Maxwell Morrongiello and Gene Grella, identified expanded office hours as its first priority during its April 27 inaugural meeting. The subcommittee will stagger office hours across different days, times, and locations beyond the current monthly Thursday sessions at the senior center, extending the program to include school committee members and other officials.

Additional initiatives include creating FAQ pages, developing short educational videos on government processes, improving website navigation, and establishing better constituent email response systems. The subcommittee meets again May 28.
