Commission on Disability approves prior minutes, plans Strawberry Stroll

Franklin Commission on Disability approved April minutes and advanced Strawberry Stroll event planning. Chairperson Alison Rheaume confirmed a donated table, hired an interpreter, and planned to provide accessibility aids including a wheelchair and noise-cancelling headphones. The commission will coordinate an accessibility and digital-compliance working group across town departments, and Glen Meadows responded to accessibility non-compliance with a remediation plan due July 3.

Two new members will be ratified at the May town council meeting, and the commission will elect officers in July.
