Franklin Board of Health approves back meeting minutes, refines intoxicating products regulations. Chair Kim Mu-Chow and members Jeff Harris and Diane Daddario unanimously approved March 4 and March 18 meeting minutes. The board recommended escalating civil penalties for novel intoxicating products violations to $300, $500, $750, and $1,000 for first through fourth offenses, and expanding regulated substances to include Delta 8, Zombie bath salts, K2, spice, psychedelic mushroom candy, and Nitrous oxide canister.

Director Cathleen Liberty reported a Department of Environmental Protection advisory recommending against consumption of fish from Chilson Beach due to PFAS contamination.
